What Happens on a Meet & Greet?

We often get asked… “What do I need to do before our Meet & Greet?”

Well, we promise - it’s easy…

There’s nothing you need to do! This is for our safety, and your pet’s safety. Plus, it’s a way for you to meet us (we always see the pets, but on rare occasion, the owners too!) This will allow you to meet us, ask us questions, and show us where your pet’s things are. Things like food, water, leashes, and carriers (or emergency bags) are the main things we ask for. You’ll also be asked again, once you onboard into our computer system portal, Time To Pet. That way you can show us, and we have it in writing.

Clients have said the best part about the meet and greets is meeting both of us - most companies will just send the owner or manager in for the meet and greet, then send an employee who has never met your pets. Not here! Michelle did meet and greets by herself for 8 years, and ran all the calls. When Travis came on in 2022, he started going on all meet and greets as well. That way, you get to the meet BOTH people who have access to your home and pets. As of this blog post, we are looking to start hiring help, but not quite yet - once we do, they will also be going on meet and greets, especially if they will be one of your assigned sitters. We will never send an employee (our ourselves) into a house we have never been to.

Depending on the area you live in, we may need access to the wi-fi. Our Time To Pet portal works off of cellular coverage, but if you’re in a dead zone, we may need to the wi-fi to be able to send our reports to you. Otherwise, we will leave at the assigned time and sent them as soon as we get service.

…And that’s all that’s needed for your meet and greet! We look forward to meet you and your furry/feathered/scaly family memebers.
